Potato dumpling with cheese

Put a twist on the usual menu, make this cheesy potato dumpling to put a smile on the faces of family and friends!


  • 5 boiled potatoes
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 4 tbsp corn starch
  • 1.5 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp red pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 egg yolks
  • cheese cut into cubes
  • 2 egg whites
  • panko breadcrumbs


I mash the boiled potatoes with a fork, then add all the ingredients except the cheese and egg whites and knead them to make a homogeneous dough.

I place the cheese on a palmful of the flattened dough and form it into a dumpling. I dip them in egg white and then in panko crumbs and fry them in sunflower oil until golden brown.
